Glade Run Adventures is located on the 325 acre campus of Glade Run Lutheran Services located in Zelienople, PA. Through equine, horticulture and outdoor enrichment programs, Glade Run Adventures offers a variety of experiential opportunities including environment outreach programs, outdoor recreational programs, teambuilding opportunities, and guided off-site programs. Our goal is to provide the consumer with a unique, holistic and enriching experience by tailoring our program to meet the needs of the individual or group.
Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that collects and distributes food through a 380+ member network in 11 counties in southwestern Pennsylvania. Through food solicitation, fund raising, special events, and community partnerships, the Food Bank gathers food at our 94,000 square foot warehouse in Duquesne, PA. Through outlets such as soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, after school programs, senior high rises, MH-MR drop-in centers, neighborhood food assistance agencies, emergency or disaster-related feeding sites, regional food banks, Meals on Wheels, community centers, and special programs, the Food Bank currently distributes around 21 million pounds of food per year. Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank is a member of Feeding America (formerly America's Second Harvest).
Grow Pittsburgh envisions the day when growing and eating healthy, local food is commonplace. Their mission is to demonstrate, teach and promote responsible urban food production. They are committed to growing food, farmers, community, and capacity!
Quiet Creek Herb Farm & School of Country Living is a non-profit, charitable, educational organization dedicated to increase the public understanding of the importance of conservation of natural resources, ecological thinking and healthful sustainable living.
