About the farm and activities:

The staff at Goodell Gardens & Homestead will be giving garden tours on the hour 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm and guests can see a historical display about the Goodell Family.

Now a non-profit, educational botanical garden and arboretum on 4 acres of the Goodell family property, this 78 acre parcel had been farmed since the early 1900's.  Besides traditional crops, the Goodell family raised sheep, a small dairy herd, and a "victory" garden.  Carrie & Margaret Goodell lived here their entire lives and were self-taught in horticulture and arboriculture.  The Heritage Garden they left behind is planted with many unusual species out of their native hardiness zones as well as some fine specimens native to NW Pennsylvania. The renovated 1840 sheep barn is now used for classes, music performances, and a weekly Farmers Market.

Travel North on Interstate 79 to exit 166 - Edinboro and Rt.6N. Travel East on Rt 6N through 3 stoplights about 3 miles.  Look for white picket fence on North side of 6N.
